Meet Jostyn Dilan, the 10-year-old kid from Mexico who rescued animals from drowning in the floods caused by Hurricane Willa in 2018. He rescued many animals, including dogs, parakeets, and roosters, who will be forever grateful to him.

This kid went out on the streets with an improvised boat, a large plastic bucket in order to help the lost animals and prevent them from drowning. He managed to save many animals without discrimination of any kind.

Dilan is a true hero. I guess you don’t have to be an adult to do something nice for someone else. You just need to have a good heart and be kind to those in need.

The flood caused the overflow of two rivers, affected more than 150 thousand people.

Despite the weather, Dilan took a plastic bucket from his house and wander around the streets near his house in order to help the animals who need it the most.  He didn’t want anything in return.

The 10-year-old wasn’t scared to drown or even not coming back home. He just went out and put all the living animals in the bucket. He didn’t want to leave an animal behind and he saved more than one species.

During his adventure, he noticed that few parakeets and one chicken needed his help. He brought them so a safer place to protect them from the flood.

Dylan’s kind gesture was shared on social media and many citizens showed their respect and admiration of his work. Leaving the animals to die wasn’t an option for Dylan. He saved them from certain death.

We are so glad that this young boy is a huge animal lover. He even put his life at risk to save the others! Many others should follow his example.
