There are many stories of people who decided to put their lives at risk in order to save helpless animals that will melt your heart. People often think of themselves as the only ones that matter in this world, but when we see stories like the following, we remember just how big this world is and how many animals are living on it.

This is a story about a young boy who jumped in a river after he saw a baby deer drowning.

Meet Belal, the boy risked his own life to save an animal’s life. When this teen saw the poor deer drowning, he didn’t have to think twice before risking his own life to save it.

He grabbed the dear and held it above his head with one hand hoping to save the helpless deer.

During the rescue mission, the eyewitnesses didn’t think that Balal was going to survive because the river was moving so fast and was pulling him downstream.

However, Balal proved everyone wrong. He managed to go to the other side of the river, and he reunited the baby deer with his family. The eyewitnesses cheered for the happy ending.

It appears that the baby deer was separated from its family when a storm hit Noakhali, Bangladesh and caused fast-rising floods.

Fortunately, there was a wildlife photographer, Hasibul Wahab, in the cheering crowd. He video-recorded the whole thing.

During the rainy season in Noakhali, lots of deers die because of all the flooding. Locals always try to make sure they are safe.

Wahab said the boy was so brave and fearless. His friend was ready to jump into the river in order to save the boy. However, the boy managed to survive and save the drowning animal.

This deer was so lucky to be rescued by this young man. His parents must be very proud!
