Good news for all dog lovers: the Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl is back!
Team Ruff and Team Fluff will take the field in Puppy Bowl XVI for the desired”Lombarky Trophy”. They will brag rights as this year’s top dogs.
There will be 96 adoptable dogs from 61 different shelters competing for first downs and flourishes.
Last season, Chewy.com presented the trophy to the winner. This year won’t be any different. The dog with the most touchdowns will win the Milk-Bone Most Valuable Puppy award.
The puppy bowl will take place this Sunday on February 2 at GEICO Stadium. You can watch it on Animal Planet at 3 p.m. ET.

Catira and Jennifer Lopez will appear during the show in the Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal Litter Kitty Halftime Show.
Chewy.com will also present the Pylon Cam, Water Bowl Cam, and Puppy Kiss Cam.
The Subaru Pup Close and Personal segments will be hosted by Jill Rappaport, who is best known for her role on American Dreams.
This year, the Puppy Bowl XVI will also feature players with disabilities, including deaf dogs.
Last year, Team Fluff was beaten by the Team Ruff 59-51 and took home the Lombarky.
