Penguins are the most beloved attractions in the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. People who visit the aquarium usually look at them. However, this Sunday the penguins what it’s like to be on the other side of the glass.

Schools, universities, cafes, restaurants have been closed due to the coronavirus outbreak. In order to prevent the coronavirus from spreading, the aquarium decided to close the building where the penguins live. However, few rockhopper penguins were given permission to leave their habitat and explore the rest of the aquarium.
Since there are no visitors, the caretakers decided to allow the penguins to freely wander around the building. They believe this will help them experience new things and encourage them to explore. The aquarium captured one of the penguins named Wellington on video and shared in on Twitter. Wellington got the opportunity to meet new fish in the Amazon exhibit.

The fish are used to human visitors. However, they were also interested in their new unusual visitor.

In the video, the adorable Wellington is wandering around with his flippers out. He immediately became popular as his video was watched over 30,000 times. people watched the video. He is putting smiles on people’s faces during these hard times. Some Twitter users expressed their gratitude to the Shedd Aquarium for sharing the video.

Unfortunately, the aquarium will be closed until March 29. If the situations worsen, it may stay closed even for a longer period. This is just one of the many attractions that have closed across the country during the coronavirus outbreak.
