There are numerous inspiring stories in the animal kingdom. However, when it comes to kindness, none compares with this story of a baby koala hand raised by selfless human couple.

Kelly the koala gave birth to her baby Imogen at Symbio Wildlife Park in Sydney, Australia. A month after giving birth, the pair seem like the happiest koala mother-baby duo in the world.

Sadly, everything changed in just a few days. Another tiny baby koala, named Harry tragically lost its mother after it was born. A decision had to be made.

After consultation with wildlife experts, the Wildlife Park made a decision to put Harry into Kelly’s pouch, and hand-feed Imogen. Although it was a tough decision, it was the right one that would have offered the baby koala a chance of surviving.

Harry was adopted by Imogen’s natural mom, so two park employees decided to adopt the older baby koala. That is how Imogen ended up living with Matt Radnidge and Kylie Elliot. Since adopting Imogen, the kind couple needed to put their lives on hold. Although it was a hard challenge, they accepted it without hesitation.

Kylie had a tough time raising a Joey who was sharp claws and is active during the night. She found a new respect for Koala mothers. The pair is so blessed to have had the opportunity to nurture the baby koala.

Fortunately, things went amazing for Imogen and Harry. Since Imogen’s first birthday is around to corner, her adoptive parents with the help of the volunteers at Wildlife Park decided to give the koala a photoshoot. But first, they decided to share the cute behind-the-scenes video. The little baby won everyone’s heart with her adorable personality!
