Woman Befriends Cat Who Lived Years on the Streets, and Comes Back for Him

A cat who lived a tough life got really excited when someone came for him at the animal shelter.

The 6-year-old orange cat spend most of his life on the streets. Fortunately, he was brought into the Animal Humane Society in Minnesota. He was taken to the animal hospital and the vet found out hi was covered in battle scars, damaged teeth, an injury to his eye, and even suffered from Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

Despite his injuries, he still likes to be cuddled. He was named Bruce Willis and his search for a forever home began. Whenever someone comes to the shelter, he starts purring, hoping that he will get adopted.

The shelter shared a pictures of Bruce Willis on their Facebook page and wrote that he is the cutest and most affectionate boy there.

When Sandra learned about Bruce, she was completely smitten. She said that she instantly fell in love with him when she saw his picture.

Even though Sandra’s landlord didn’t allow pets, she decided to visit Bruce and saw his sad eyes. When she went home, she was heartbroken, but still hoping that a loving family would adopt him soon. Sandra went once again to visit Bruce and found out that he had a respiratory infection.

After a month, Bruce still wasn’t adopted, so Sandra knew she had to do something. She showed a picture of Bruce to his landlord and convinced him to make an exception to the no-pets rule. Finally, Bruce was adopted. As soon as Sandra brought him home, he lied down on the floor and began purring.

Although it took a few days for Bruce to get used to his new home, he soon discovered that he didn’t have to fight for food anymore. Now, Sandra is there to protect him.
