You don’t adopt a cat, the cat chooses you. That is what happened to a woman named Morgan. Although she didn’t plan to have a cat, a tiny orphaned kitten found her way into Morgan’s home. The furball even became a best friend to Morgan’s dog.

A few months ago, Morgan heard a kitten’s meowing in her farm. She tried to call the kitty, but she couldn’t find it. So, Morgan took one of her big cats out to find the helpless kitten, who was in a little tree stump.

Morgan decided to leave the kitten in the same spot she found it just to see if his mom would return. After monitoring the kitten for several hours, the mom never showed up. Morgan knew she had to take the kitty in.

When it got dark, Morgan got nervous and scared about the little furball, so she went out and brought her inside. The kitten couldn’t see anything and she was covered in fleas.

Morgan named the kitten Polly. After taking Polly inside, Morgan gave her a much-needed bath and removed all the fleas. Then, Paxton, Morgan’s 12-year-old dog, heard the kitten’s meows and arrived to check on her.

When Paxton took to the little kitten and started caring for her, Polly stopped crying and immediately fell asleep.

The little feline didn’t want to be alone again, so Paxton never left her side. Polly follows her new best friend around the house all the time. She is just like Paxton’s shadow. Since Polly was so small, Morgan had bottle-fed her for three weeks.

Now, Paxton and Polly do everything together, from sleeping to playing together. They are completely inseparable and their connection is stronger than ever.

Polly is now 5 months old. She became a beautiful young cat.
