A pig was caught on tape showing off one of her talents: snoring. She even made it to the national news on Wednesday morning

The video was filmed at Cogan’s Farm, a venue for events and weddings. The director of the farm Megan Vaughan captured the short video of the pig named Rosie napping next to an empty food bowl under a tree shade in September. While Rosie was napping, she was also snoring.

Vaughan was working at a wedding event at the farm when she heard Rosie’s snoring. She thought it would be a good idea to capture it on video and even upload it to her YouTube account to make other people laugh.

“I was like, ‘Wow, that’s how I feel right now,” Vaughan said. “It’s 100 degrees. I wish I could do that.”

The sounds of Rosie’s snoring is not unusual on the farm. According to Vaughan, after Rosie eats, she falls asleep and snores Pigs snores the same way as people snore while sleeping.

Rosie came to the farm almost two years ago. It appears that the potbelly pig is around three years old.

People get potbelly pigs as pets. They get rid of pigs when they get big, which is very sad. That is how the nearby farms end up with pigs.”They don’t realize how big they will get, so we end up with pigs,” said Vaughan.

This is not the first time that Cogan’s Farm has been on the news. In 2019, they won the 2019 WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award for best wedding venues. Vaughan and her parents Bryan and Fran Whitehead turned the property into an event venue in 2015 after Vaughan celebrated her wedding there. Her best friend and her brother also held their weddings at Cogan Farm. It didn’t take so long for the business to take off.

ABC News shared Rosie’s video on their Facebook page Tuesday night with the caption, “After a hard day’s work, this snoring pig is all of us dreaming of the weekend.” When Vaughan shared the video, she didn’t expect to see her pig on the news.
