The famous actor and director Gary Sinise took an amazing initiative in order to bring veteran dogs to the forefront on Veteran’s Day, and honor them as well for their service.

Sinise also runs the Gary Sinise Foundation which the main goal is to honor veterans, defenders, first responders, and all their families. He organizes different events where he wants to educate and inspire other people.

The Gary Sinise Foundation has numerous ways to give back to those who’ve served the country. The foundation gives free meals for veterans around the country, builds smart homes for wounded veterans, and many other things to help the veterans.

Now, Sinise decided to add heroic dogs to the list of those who he wants to help. That is the main reason why he came up with “Veterinarians for Valor”. He is determined to raise money in order to honor the veteran dogs as well.

Sinise and his foundation teamed up with the veterinarians from Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences to give free medical care for police K-9s, as well as service dogs and those who are in the US military.

People are encouraged to donate and help with this cause. Numerous people in these jobs wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the brave dogs proudly standing next to them. It’s very important for these dogs to receive good quality medical care.

Although you can donate once, you can also set up a standing monthly donation. You just need to fill out your personal information and how much you’d like to donate.

Just visit the Gary Sinise Foundation website and make your donation. Our furry heroes deserve love and respect as well!
