On February 13th, the animal shelter Collin found a cute puppy left at their doorstep with a letter from the boy. The shelter said that the puppy was left inside a box with toys and a note. In the note, the kid explained that his dad was always kicking the dog and was planning to sell him. In order to avoid this and save the puppy, the boy decided to leave the dog at the shelter.
After sharing this story on social media, people from around the world wanted to help, donate, and even adopt the adorable dog.

However, the shelter’s top priority was to check the puppy’s health of the puppy. Sadly, the puppy’s tail was fractured as a result of the beating. Although a trip to the vet means more expenses for the shelter, they are happy that the dog will be at a safe place now.
They discovered that the boy is named Andrés and was from México state. He also added a plush toy to the box so his puppy won’t forget him.
The shelter named the dog Rene. Although they got more than 300 messages of people who want to adopt the dog, they are searching for the right family.
The shelter also said they are hoping that more people will adopt animals and not just when they go viral. There are many abused animals in the world and all of them need a loving home.
