When Jr. Cook explored the waters of his ship near Cross Keys, Manitoba, Canada, he noticed strange sounds from afar.

As they sailed with his friend, they approached a deserted side where the voices became louder. However, knowing that the island is deserted and there is nothing left, they did not think much and left.

When Cook returned home, the voice did not come out of his mind, so he decided to visit the island the next day and see what was hidden there.

Junior was worried because the sounds were like someone was crying, he knew that something should not go wrong, so he decided to get off the boat and explore.

He was shocked to find no less than seven puppies stranded on the island! The poor puppies were alone and shaken, running around crying and looking for salvation on the small island.

The ship contacted a local animal organization, the Norwegian Animal Rescue House. Fortunately, they were prepared to help immediately and certainly have the experience of saving stray dogs and cats from unusual situations.

They said such heavy rescue as this one took place every day in the city.

“This is not an isolated case and it happens every day in Manitoba and around the world,” the Norway House Animal Rescue wrote on its Facebook page.

The organization mainly saves animals and organizes transport to shelters and local and spreads throughout the country. The ultimate goal is to bring all adopted.

Junior has been a constant help throughout the rescue process, even bringing food packages to puppies each day.

Poor puppies were malnourished.

On the first day, they were so hungry that they ate a large bag of dog food at one point. They were so hungry and on the verge of death – Junior noticed them just in time.

Eventually, the puppies were safe and slowly got used to the people, but they still needed medical help.

“They are currently receiving treatment for lice, tapeworms, and malnutrition and will be ready for adoption when they are healthy.”
