Adopting a dog means saving a life and getting a loving companion for life.
When Drew Harrisberg went to a local shelter to adopt a dog that he already had his eyes on, he found out that someone already adopted that dog. However, he didn’t want to go home empty-handed, so he decided to check out some of the other dogs in the shelter. Then, he heard a unique sound that caught his attention.
Drew heard something like a pig-seal squeal. He wondered what kind of creature was in the shelter. Then, he decided to walk around in the shelter in order to find what that sound was. He discovered that the sound came from a Pit Bull mix named Dennis. The dog expressed his excitement after seeing Drew for some reason.

When Drew went over to Dennis, he immediately knew he had to adopt this squealing dog. He had to have this squealing, talkative dog.
However, someone else already signed the adoption papers for Dennis. Instead of doing nothing, Drew came up with an idea. He decided to ask the shelter if can faster the dog for a few weeks until his adoption process was completed.
The shelter agreed, but they warned Drew that he would get so attached to the dog. Despite the warning, Drew chose to foster Dennis and the shelter was right. The Pit Bull mix turned out to be really talkative dog and Drew fell in love with him in a few weeks.
Drew didn’t want to return the talkative dog to the real owners, so he tried to convince them to keep Drew. Somehow, it worked and the family agreed to Drew’s plea.
Both of them got something incredible. Dennis got a new loving home with a lovely owner and Drew finally understood what love and friendship really mean.
