Firefighters work on the clock, trying to save lives day in and out. They face high risks by putting their own lives on the line as they extinguish wide fires and save endangered lives.

Firefighters aren’t only the heroes of men but also animals. Animals like birds, dogs, and cats often get trapped in certain places and are rescued within a short call. Some animals get stuck in a roof, tied to an object, or stuck to a surface (they can’t help themselves). Hence, firefighters come to rescue.

But with Jessie the parrot, that’s a totally different case.

Jessie is a unique parrot. She is a yellow and turquoise Macaw parrot who was “stuck” on a roof in London for three days. The scared owners called the London fire brigade for urgent rescue. During the operation ‘rescue the bird’ mission, Jessie simply rejected being saved.

The manager of the fire brigade crew, Chris Swallow, got on the roof with Jessie. He had earlier been instructed by animal experts to bond with the bird by saying, “I love you” when he got to meet him.

However, Chris received the biggest shock of his life when he got in front of the bird and said I love you, and after Jessie repeated that, she began to shout swear words at Chris.

The crew was highly fascinated by this. The surprise didn’t end there. What else? Well, they began to hear Greek and Turkish words coming from a bird.

A witness reported that the parrot told the firefighter to “F**k off.” Now, this is an eye-opener.

Chris stated that “Jessie had been on the same roof for the past three days, and there were major concerns that she may be injured, which is why she hadn’t come down. We were told that bonding with the parrot requires telling her, “I love you,” which is exactly what I did.

While Jessie responded, “I love you” back, we found out that she has such  much to our amusement.”

These firefighters worked hard to bring her down from the roof but with no avail. Jessie was very stubborn and clear about not wanting to be saved.

This rebel parrot would then fly to another tree or roof to spike another uproar of adventure. The parrot owners were worried about her safety but soon breathe a sigh of relief as they watched fly around.

Jessie finally reunited with her owners after she got tired of the roller coaster adventure.
