Meet Speck, the dog who loves to say “Hi” to anyone who visits him at the Bullock County Humane Society, located in Alabama.

Whenever someone comes to the shelter, he loves to push his face between the metal bars and extends his paw.

Desiray Miracle-Wilder, the shelter’s director, said that Speck just wants to be loved by people who come to the shelter. He wants to touch them and hold their hands. He is sad when he doesn’t receive any attention.

The black-and-white dog has been in the shelter for a year and a half. He’s been waiting for a family to pick him, but with no luck. Despite his life on the streets, he’s a friendly and trusting dog. Although he has scars on his face, you may think he would be hardened, but that’s not the case.
