To become part of the military, you must be physically ready and mentally stable. Soldiers spend most of their time away from their families and loved ones, which means they are at high risk, which could adversely affect their health.

Many veterans may be diagnosed with PTSD or post-traumatic stress disorder. PTSD is a mental health disorder acquired after experiencing a traumatic, shocking, frightening, or critical event.
According to the US Department of Veterans Affairs, there are several ways to help people with PTSD.
There is a website that advises people on many issues related to PTSD, such as consulting a psychologist or psychiatrist.
It also encourages people to engage in sports-related activities or to take a service dog.
A 47-year veteran named Bill who suffers from post-traumatic disorder and memory loss chose to help him a dog called Pax.
The veteran was too grateful to have the yellow Labrador next to him. He was overjoyed with Pax’s skills. So with great pleasure, he wanted to meet the Pax coach in person. It turns out that the coach is a woman named Laurie Kellog.
The veteran traveled to meet Lori, the coach of Pax, to express his sincere gratitude for the care of Pax. When he reached Lori, he learned that Pax had been trained for people who suffer from PTSD, she also suffered from PTSD after being a victim of domestic violence.
Lori admitted that even when Pax was still training, the attracted dog brought her back to life in the present when she had a PTSD attack.
When she found out that Pax was going to help a soldier suffering from PTSD, she was overjoyed.
Lori was too happy to meet Pax again, so he ran to her and kissed her with too many kisses.
With both of them knowing how it feels like to have PTSD, Laurie, and the veteran Sgt. Bill greeted each other with an embrace.
Having a dog like Pax means a friend for life!
