A little girl from Alabama disappeared this Wednesday. Fortunately, the search for her ended in success.

Vadie Sides was missing for almost 2 days before she was found a mile from where she disappeared. According to authorities, a 70-year-old woman was babysitting little Vadie. They were walking in the backyard with a hound dog before she wandered off.

Vadie lives in the town of Loachapoka in Lee County, Alabama. Responders found her in a nearby wooded area after searching for her for 2 days.

Lee county sheriff Jay Jones confirmed that the girl was found after 48 hours of searching. Luckily, the little girl was in great condition despite the unpleasant experience, thanks to a dog that was by her side.

Sheriff Jones was relieved after the search was over. She was more than happy to announce that the little girl was found.

Numerous volunteers showed up to help to find the girl. They searched the wooded area nearby, which had a creek running through it. The dog was by her side when she was found but run away when rescuers came close. Volunteers ran after the dog, but couldn’t keep up with it. However, the dog later returned home on its own.

When Vadie was found, she had a few scratches on her knees and forearms but was in good condition.

The rescue team heard the dog barking, then little Vadie showed up and they saw her ginger hair.

The Sides family was relieved when their little girl was found safe and sound. They were so grateful to all the volunteers and the police who joined the search.

When Vadie was found, she drank Gatorade and wasn’t really making a big deal of her disappearance. Such a brave little girl. Thanks to the dog, she survived in the woods.
