We are all aware of the situation in Australia, many places have been affected by extreme fires, burned forests, houses, and also animals. Many people volunteered to help the kangaroos and koalas.
Slow-moving koalas were much harder to pull out of fires, people who are protecting and rescuing them from severe fires, they also watering them, and covering them with blankets.
The whole scene was posted on social media and it was too sad for the animals that were suffering and fighting for their lives.
Many countries have shown humanity and donated to Australia. In addition to adults who understood the situation, young children also wanted to help.
Owen is the child who earns $ 100,000 from Koala’s small figures to help Australia. This cute little kid is a hero!
When the six-year-old from Massachusetts heard about the fires in Australia earlier this year, he not only wanted to help the animals, but he did.
Owen first started drawing, he drew koala, kangaroo, and dingo in the rain, he imagined in that way he would be able to stop the fire.
When the mother saw the drawing and asked Owen if he wanted to help in some way, the child answered yes without hesitation.
That’s how the idea of creating clay koala figures came about, to save the real ones.
They started making figures to help with any donations they received. The demand was huge, so they created a GoFundMe page that generated over $ 100,000 and donated it all to an animal rescue organization called Wildlife Rescue South Coast.
The wildlife rescue on the South Coast is based in southern New South Wales and has over 300 volunteers working to help animals affected by the fire.
