Meet the latest hero – Brady Snakovsky! He is a 9-year-old boy who wants to become a police officer one day. His main goal is to keep the community safe. Since he is a huge fan of dogs, he is eager to have his own K9 dog.

One day, when Brady and his mother Leah were watching Live PD on TV, the little boy noticed that police officers wear bulletproof vests, but their K9 dogs were unprotected.

Brady was devastated after he saw that the dogs don’t have protection. Thanks to his mom, the little boy then found out that K9 units are usually self-funded. K9 units don’t have enough money to buy expensive bulletproof vests for each K9 officer.

So, the 9-year-old boy decided to help the furry K9 officers. His mom helped him to start Brady’s K9 Fund.

Brady and his mom set up a GoFundMe campaign which quickly started trending. Brady’s selflessness amazed everyone. Thanks to the donations, he raised more than $80,000 and he bought 79 bulletproof vests for K9 dogs across the country. The dogs’ human partners are happy that their K9 partners received protection.

The little boy shared some of the stories of the dogs that received bulletproof vests on the GoFundMe page. Meet one of the dogs: his name is Mackey, a German Shepherd from the Police Department in New Jersey. The dog is happy with his new vest!

When the company that makes the bulletproof vests heard about Brady’s story, they decided to give him a discount.

When Brady gave the vests to the K9 officers, he got the opportunity to meet real-life police officers and K9 dogs.

Leah said that although Brady is an introvert, this experience really changed him. Even moms of his classmates have reached out to donate.

Brady is an incredible and selfless little boy. If you want to make a donation, check out his website.
