Pit Bulls are often described as dangerous dogs. Although they have a bad reputation, they are the most loving and caring dogs. If you don’t share the same opinion, maybe the following story about a friendship between a Pit Bull and squirrel will change your mind.

Meet Everly, the rescue Pit Bull who has a kind heart. Her owner Morgan Joy Groves, says that Everly can befriend anyone, including other animals.

Recently, Everly crossed paths with a baby squirrel during her regular walks. The poor animal’s mom was nowhere to be found and the baby squirrel was all alone.

The squirrel was fascinated by the gentle pitbull and even follower her home. Soon, they started hanging out and even became best friends.

After the walk, Everly wanted to lay down for a while. She was surprised when the baby squirrel climbed on top of her and they took a nap together. This was the starting point of their beautiful friendship. Although Everly’s cat sister was skeptical at first, she then accepted the fact that the pit bull and the baby squirrel were very happy with their friendship.

Morgan shared pictures of the best friends online. Although this unusual friendship is so adorable, the squirrel is still a wild animal. Many social media users pointed out that taking care of a squirrel is much harder than you think. So, numerous people shared their advice with Morgan.

After she has learned so much about baby squirrels, she decided that her home is not the best place to take care of a squirrel. Unfortunately, she had to give her up to an expert.

The baby squirrel lives in a wildlife center where she is properly taken care of. Now, he lives with two other squirrels. When they grow up, they will be released to their natural habitat.

Morgan and Everly did a great job with the baby squirrel. The unlikely friendship is an example of how caring dogs can be, no matter the breed. If you want to see more of Everly’s adventures, make sure you follow her Instagram account!
