Betsy is a strong dog. Even though she was in pain, she had the will to live. Within the next few months, she received the necessary treatment and eight surgeries. She fought for her life almost every day. Her hope neve died.
When she started to heal, she also regained her trust in humans. In the past, she only knew cruel people. However, she opened her heart to the people who saved her life.
Betsy is a very strong and courageous dog. She touched so many lives with her ability to forgive. When she fully recovered, a family wanted to adopt her. They offered her a nice life with a dog sibling and a big yard so both of them can play in.
Now, Betsy’s life is full of adventures. There is a stream near her new home, so she loves to go there and paw the fish. She loves her new life and her new owners. Her tail wags prove that! She managed to overcome her past and live a happy life.
