When the beginning of your life is tough, it can be very difficult to move on. Sometimes staying positive during tough days can’t be an easy thing to do. However, Jake the pit bull didn’t want to think about the bad days.
The following story will leave you speechless. Jake was living a happy life with his family. He was just a few weeks old at the time. Until one day, a fire broke out in their house. Fortunately, firefighters arrived right on time and put down the fire.
Unfortunately, the dog was caught in the fire. Then, the family rushed him to a veterinarian hospital and decided to leave him there. He was so confused and afraid. His family didn’t love Jake enough, so they decided to abandon him because they didn’t want to take care of a burnt puppy.

But, Jake’s story doesn’t end here. One of the firefighters who rescued him from the fire couldn’t stand the thought of the dog being somewhere else, so he decided to adopt him. He wanted to give Jake the best treatment that the dog receives the best medical treatment. After spending a few weeks at rehab, he fully recovered, but he has scars all over his body.
After a few days, Jake gained confidence and started playing with his new family. The dog even got the opportunity to spend a few days at the fire station. He also became the official mascot of the fire department and he even travels with his dad and other firefighters. Jake even gets the opportunity to assist with fire safety lectures in many schools.
The city has sworn the dog and now he is an official member of the fire department, along with his new dad! He also received a vest and a badge. Jake is also in training to become a therapy dog.
Although Jake’s beginning is a sad story, he now lives in a new loving home.
