Meet Mork Skywalker, the cutest little dog that looks just like Baby Yoda! Ever since a picture of little Mork was shared online, many people fell in love with his big ears and adorable face.
However, life didn’t always treat him right. He started his life on the other side of the world in China, where he was supposed to end up as dog meat.
Sadly, Chinese people eat dog meat, which is conservational in other countries. The little pup was one of those dogs who spent their lives in cages, waiting for certain death.

Last October, Mork almost got his tragic ending. Fortunately, ‘HarbinSHS’ saved his life. HarbinSHS is actually an organization that works to save dogs who were sentenced to death for food.
The organization works to give dogs of all breeds a chance at a happy life, even if it means to bring them to the United States.
When HarbinSHS found Mork, he was in really bad shape. He weighed only 11 pounds and was taken to a vet due to intestinal complications.
Fortunately, Mork decided to fight the disease. Just in a few weeks, he managed to get out of that horrible place and was headed to Los Angeles, California. Before arriving in LA, Mork didn’t know that his life was about to change forever.

When he arrived in the states, the founder of a nonprofit rescue shelter called ‘Roadogs’ saw him and immediately fell in love with him.
Nikki Carvey, the founder, knew about the rescue mission and she decided to take the poor dog in. She received a photo of Mork for paperwork, and the moment she saw him, she knew they were meant for each other and wanted to adopt him as soon as he arrives.
Carvey brought Mork home and immediately created an account on Instagram for him. Since dog Mork has similar features as Baby Yoda, he instantly became a canine celebrity on social media.
Many fans fell in with Mork’s big ears and the resemblance to the green baby.
Although Mork has started a new life, he is still dealing with some health problems. Carvery hopes that he will become a therapy dog in the future. But first, he needs to fully recover.
Hopefully, little Mork Skywalker will recover in no time and he will become the best therapy dog ever.
