One of the most painful decisions is to give up your pet to a shelter because you can’t look after it anymore. However, it’s a different thing to abandon your dog on the streets. It has to be one of the cruelest acts. A dog was recently abandoned on the streets out of a vehicle in Pattaya, eastern Thailand. A woman witnessed the heartbreaking scene. The dog was so scared and confused, he even started to run after his owner’s truck.
Kat Jaroensuk was on her motorcycle when she saw a silver pick-up stop and abandon their dog. Then, the dog started running after his owner’s truck in a desperate attempt to not lose him.
As a witness to the entire situation, Kat managed to catch up with the driver and let him know that the dog was running after them. However, a passenger from the car put the window down and said they didn’t want the dog anymore.

The witness was devastated by the scene and began video-recording the dog running behind the pick-up truck. The vehicle was so crammed up, so Kat believes they were moving and didn’t want to take their pet to the new home.
The dog was running so fast, desperately trying to catch up with his owners. When Kat honked at the vehicle to get their attention, they didn’t slow down. Then, she managed to tell the couple inside that a dog was following them, but they didn’t seem to care.
Kat was sad and worried about the abandoned animal who was running until his legs were sore. He could have been hit and killed by a vehicle.
This is important to know: If you can’t raise a dog, leaving it on the streets isn’t helpful. Instead of leaving on the streets, maybe take it to a shelter where the dog can receive proper care.
