The U.S. Coast Guard Station on Fort Myers Beach got an emergency call about a senior dog that was all by itself at sea. No one knew how long it had been in the middle of the sea. A rescue team from Fort Myers Beach set sail immediately the information got to the U.S coast guard.

The family of the dog was worried about him because they all went to the beach together. Within a few hours, their dog went missing and was nowhere to be found. An alarm was raised after some hours of unsuccessful search for the dog. The authorities were initially confused about his whereabouts because no one had seen a dog going far into the sea. Meanwhile, a decision was immediately carried out to go on an all-round search. This was done with the hope that the dog might have floated somewhere. No decision was reached about reaching separate locations

It took some time to find the dog, as the rescue team didn’t know the exact location of the dog, but rather searched wherever they could until the dog was found. Fortunately, the dog was found alive on a spoilt boat floating to whatever destination.

Immediately the rescue team got to the dog; they pulled the boat as close as they could and called the dog, which eventually responded to the call. The dog came swimming eagerly to where they could get him. He kissed his rescuers in thanks for rescuing him after they pulled him aboard. Amazing how a dog showed gratitude to people who saved his life.

Indeed, the crew members took selfies with the dog and proceeded to the seashore in happiness. The dog is safe and sound and is reunited with his family. The U.S coast guard shared the story. And the team who responded to the urgent call was appreciated for a job well done as they reunited a supposed lost dog with his family.
