If you ever wondered if your cat feels the same way as you, a feline named Midnight might convince you that cats can love too. Although the black cat’s family suffered through several tragedies, she did something really surprising for a cat.
Roy and Bernita Rogers from Kansas City, Missouri, have always dreamed of having a large family together. As soon as they met, they imagined their life with many kids running around. However, not everything goes as planned.
In the first years of their marriage, the couple went through not one, but three premature births. Although this was a devastating experience for them, they never lost their hope.

However, the tragic experience really affected Bernita. After realizing that she needed a company that would fill the emptiness, she decided to get herself a stray cat. So, she ended up with a black kitten and she named her Midnight.
The cat immediately became an important part of the family. Right after adopting Midnight, Bernita got pregnant miraculously and the couple welcomed a healthy baby girl into their life.
Stacey, the latest addition to the family, made the couple the happiest people in the world. They installed a baby monitor in the daughter’s room because they didn’t want to miss any moment of her life.
When Midnight and the little girl were introduced, it didn’t take much time for them to become best friends. The black kitty was so protective of her human sister.
One day, the parents noticed that their little girl wasn’t feeling fine. So, they decided to take her to the doctors to make sure that was nothing to be worried about.
When the couple brought Stacey home, they put her in her room. After a while, they heard some strange noises through the baby monitor.
It was Midnight, trying to warn Roy and Bernitathat something wasn’t right with the baby.
The couple rushed to their daughter’s room and noticed that Stacey was struggling to gasp for air and her skin even turned blue. They immediately took her to the ER where they found out that their daughter suffered a full respiratory failure. After receiving medical assistance, Stacey is doing so much better.
The couple is really thankful for their cat who warned them about Stacey’s emergency.
