Hunting is the process of searching and capturing or killing wild animals. Humans mostly hunt wildlife or feral animals for food or to remove predators from their yards. In prehistoric times, hunting was necessary for human survival. However, people today kill animals just for entertainment. According to a British study, 11% of deers killed by hunters have suffered more than 15 minutes before they die.
One day, a hunter decided to go on a deer hunt in Lesperon, France. However, the hunting expedition didn’t end well. The hunter had to be hospitalized after a deer ripped his face.
Vincent Saubion, 36, received 50 stitches to his face after the deer ran into him during the hunting expedition. A helicopter had to fly the area to transport the young hunter to the Pellegrin Hospital in Bordeaux, France. According to local reports, he was immediately taken to emergency surgery.

The 30-lb deer was so scared, he tore a long flap of skin along Saubion’s face. The hunter said that he felt drunk after the incident.
Although Saubion was attacked by a deer and lost a lot of blood, he wanted to continue with his hunting expedition. However, one of his friends told him to stop. Fortunately, Saubion received first aid from a fellow firefighter who was part of Saubion’s hunting party.
The 36-year-old hunter is thankful that no face bones were broken. Although the incident left him terrified, Saubion said that he will still go on hunting expeditions. He also said he respects the hunting game and the owners who let them hunt in the forest.
Although the incident occurred in January, it became public now. It’s still unknown whether the deer who injured the hunter remained alive.
This is not the first hunting incident. Last October, a hunter died near Yellville in Marion County, Arkansas, after he was attacked by a deer.
Maybe this should be a lesson for the hunters, that hunting should be banned. Or maybe they should go fight with bare hands if they are brave as they say with their ‘guns’.
