There are many depressing stories around the world nowadays. All we can do is to hope for things to get better. After all the devastation, there is still some heartwarming news that comes from animals in some incidents.
Since we hear about devastation events, we want to tell you a story that will warm your heart. Although this story happened in Donetsk, Ukraine not so long ago, it’s still worth telling. One brave dog showed us the bright side of the world.
Recently, there was a massive explosion that caused a huge fire around a building. The explosion was felt even 3 miles away. There were also clouds of smoke in the sky. People were forced to evacuate. They started panicking and running away from their houses with their valuable things and their pets.

One man ran away with his dog. However, he decided to unleash the dog so he could run away even further. Instead of running away from the fire, the dog returned back to his burning home to rescue his kitten friend. His owner was surprised by the dog’s actions.
While the owner was watching his house blazed down in the fire, he hoped his dog will stay alive. When the brave dog came out of the burning house, he was carrying the kitten in his mouth.
The dog and the kitten were best buddies. They loved playing and sleeping together, enjoying each other’s company every day. When the fire occurred, the dog’s first instinct was to save his best friend instead of himself. The owner was both relieved and stunned at his dog’s heroic act.
The kitten was so little and it wouldn’t have survived on its own. Thankfully, his furry friend came to rescue. After locals learned the news about the heroic dog, they were moved. This is not something that a human would do instinctively.
Animals once again proved that they deserve our love and attention.
