The kangaroo is one of the strangest animals who live on our planet, at least from our perspective, but the way they are born is even weirder.

The gestation period, respectively, the duration of embryo delivery, is very short in baggage and usually lasts from 4 to 5 weeks, and in some species up to 12 days. In the case of kangaroos, childbirth takes place after 31 to 36 days.

But at that point, the newborn kangaroo is completely undeveloped, except for the front limbs and facial structure.

Nature has taken care of that too, and the reason is that it just has to reach the mother’s nipple to start sucking. Its size is unrealistically small: no larger than a pea.

They are the most famous and widespread jumping icons in Australia.

On Sunday morning, Kangaroo was spotted at fishermen’s beach at Torquay, Melbourne how is jumping into the water while he was chasing from a small puppy on the beach. The kangaroo almost drowned on the popular beach, pushing his head into the water after being attacked by a dog.

Genene Priest recorded the moment when a kangaroo entered the water to escape from the dog, which was not on a leash.

‘[The kangaroo] came along the beach so quickly and suddenly from behind, that I’m sure the owner of the dog who swam in couldn’t have seen it before their dog did,’ she wrote on Facebook.

When Kangaroo felt safe in the water away from the dog, the Australian kelpie jumped into the water and started swimming towards him.

When the dog reached the kangaroo, he attacked the large marsupial and at one point pushed his head under the surface of the water.

They started swimming back to shore and fought for their lives.

Eventually, when they managed to reach the beach, the kangaroo jumped from the water before being attacked by another dog.
