A devastated cat owner was shocked after her pet was shot in the eye with a pellet gun.

The cat owner wants to remain anonymous. She confirmed that her cat, Kitty, is now afraid to go outside and was left blind in one eye after the merciless attack.

When the woman returned to her Radford home, she noticed that her cat was bleeding from the eye. She immediately rushed Kitty to the vet hospital, where the cat was diagnosed with eye trauma and a blood clot.

Unfortunately, Kitty’s condition didn’t improve for the whole week and the owners were back in the vet hospital again.

The vet examined the cat again and removed a metal pellet near her eye. Kitty’s owner confirmed that now the cat is healing, but she’s blind in her left eye. She also pointed out that she’s been living in Radford for the last 7 years and this is the first time that something like this happened.

Kitty is now afraid to go outside.

The owner and her husband have got Kitty when she was just a kitten. They said she loved to go outside, especially during summer. However, that changed when she was shot in the eye. Whenever Kitty hears loud noises, she immediately hides. She’s even scared to go near the garden door.

It’s really shocking that someone can do such a disgusting thing to a defenseless animal. Kitty’s owner noted that there are children who play in the gardens nearby. Fortunately, none of them were hurt.

Although the incident was reported to the police, they said they can’t do anything because there are no witnesses.

If someone knows or saw what happened to Kitty should contact the police.

People who have any relevant information about the incident can email Rachel.stretton@reachplc.com and the information will be passed on to the owner.
