Every dog deserves a chance to live a happy life, even strays and shelter dogs. It is a common myth to believe that all dogs in shelters are damaged in a way, but that couldn’t be less true.
Meet Rush, the Pit Bull who lives in the “SICSA Pet Adoption Center” which is located in Dayton, Ohio. When the center took the dog in, he was really afraid and nervous. He has been homeless all of his life, so living in the center was something new for him. The volunteers had to be patient and gentle with the scared dog, hoping that he would find a loving home soon.
Unfortunately, potential adopters who came to the shelter and saw Rush, they quickly labeled the dog as aggressive and violent. When the Pit Bull saw every dog in the shelter getting adopted, he was wondering why no one wanted to adopt him.

One day, the volunteers saw Rush diligently making his own bed before adoption visits. The Pit Bull was using his mouth to hold the sheets and tuck them neatly on all corners. Rush wanted to present himself as a good little boy before people arrived at the shelter.
The dog started making his bed every day, so volunteers at the shelter knew they had to help hip find a forever home quickly. They recorded him and shared the video online. Social media users fell in love with Rush’s earnestness.
Fortunately, one loving couple decided to adopt Rush after they lost their dog. Rush’s sadness disappeared in an instant as he arrived at his new home with his new loving family.
