Delivery people and UPS drivers have created special relationships with dogs over the years. Leo the pit bull is among those dogs who bonded with a UPS driver named Katie Newhouser.
Over the years, Leo and his owner Tina Rummel have developed a strong bond with Newhouser. All pet owners on Katie’s route are aware that their pets really love her because she always gives them a bunch of treats.
One day, while Katie was on the job, she passed by Leo’s house and found out that his owner Tina has passed away. Unfortunately, Tina’s son Conan was serving in the Marines, so he couldn’t take care of the dog. This meant that Leo was now left on his own.

Katie was really worried about the dog, so she checked Leo almost every day. However, one day when she visited him, he got inside her vehicle and refused to leave. This was the moment that made Katie realized the dog needed a new home.
She took the pit bull Leo home with her UPS van, until Conan gets back home. When Leo arrived at Katie’s house, he created a perfect relationship with her other dogs. It seems that he was really happy in his temporary home.
However, Leo didn’t forget his previous owner. There were days when Leo would cry for her. Luckily, his new furry friends were always there to comfort him.
When Katie saw how much her dogs love each other and have fun, she thought that separating Leo from his new friends would be the second-worst thing that can happen to him.
Eventually, she adopted Leo, which means that now he gets to spend his life around Katie and her dogs who all love him very much.
We are glad that Leo finally found his happy ending with a new loving family!
