Sometimes people can be so cruel when it comes to animals. Not every pet owner takes care of their pet like they are supposed to do. Usually, pet owners abandon their animals because of various reasons such as lack of money, moving or simply they got bored with their pets.
Take Rudy the Pit Bull for instance. He was dumped in a plastic bucket and didn’t have any fur. Sadly, he also had wounds all over his body after he was burned with battery acid and cigarette burns. When he arrived at the animal shelter in New York last November, he was in horrible shape.
Rudy’s front leg was severely broken, so he couldn’t walk properly. Like he wasn’t suffering enough, he was also suffering from a Cushings Disease.

The animal shelter decided to ask SNAAR (the Northeast chapter of Special Needs Animal Rescue Rehabilitation) for help. Courtney Bellew, the director of the rehabilitation center, saved Ruby. Courtney is actually used to take care of critically injured animals, but when she saw Rudy, she was broken. broke her heart. She confirmed that Rudy’s front leg was broken, but she refused to take a photo of it.
Rudy didn’t suffer just physically, he was also traumatized emotionally. The group was surprised that the broken boy even survived. However, the injuries have taken a toll on him. The dog was very scared of humans and wasn’t sure if he should believe them.
As time passed by, Rudy started trusting the people around him and was thankful for their help. Now, the dog enjoys taking medicated baths. After everything he’s been through, he deserves the warm and relaxing baths.
The group posted a video on social media of Rudy while he was getting a special spa bath. The baths really help heal his skin and fur.
Fortunately, Rudy receives all the medical care he needs right now. His foster parents have a farm home where he spends most of his time with his new friends: dogs, cats, lambs, even children.
