Countless dogs across the United States end up on the streets. The number of strays and abandoned dogs is growing day by day. In order to decrease the number of stray dogs and other pets, many states made it illegal to abandon a pet.
A cute little puppy named Princess was found on the side of a road. She was limping and wouldn’t put any pressure on her front leg because it was broken.
Fortunately, she was rescued and immediately taken to Dr. Dave with Vet Ranch. The doctor thought it was a broken bone and he was right. According to the x-rays, her front leg was broken but it has already started to heal.

The dog was so tiny and it was hard to find a small splint for her. So, Dr. Dave had to be creative. He decided to splint up her leg with a popsicle stick so it could heal faster. He kept an eye on her until her leg healed properly. The staff at the clinic fell in love with Princess.
Although she had the splint on for two weeks, she felt better and even started running around. After a month, her leg was even better! When the doctor did another x-ray, he saw that her leg healed properly so it was time to take the splint off. As soon as her splint was taken off, she started running around!
When Princess’s leg finally healed, she was ready for adoption. She was adopted soon when a local family fell in love with her.
It remains unknown how she ended up on the side of the road. However, her story has a happy ending. Thanks to Dr. Dave her leg healed properly and now she’s enjoying in her new home with a loving family.
