Numerous dogs sit in animal shelters waiting for someone kind to adopt them. Some of them wait for weeks, months, or even years for a potential adopter.

When Courtney Wingate saw little Labrador puppies at the local animal control, she had to take them. She works as a director of the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana, and she loves animals. One of them even gave her the most charming smile she had ever seen.

Wingate called volunteer Sarrah Walton, who took the puppies who were just 8 weeks old. Wingate decided to name the puppies O, Burreaux and Joe, after the players and coach of the school’s football team.

She took them to the veterinarian hospital to check their health. The puppies were also tested for parvo, which turned out negative. They were all healthy, but Burreaux got sick a few days later. Wingate immediately took him back hospital where he received the necessary treatment.

While Burreaux was at the animal shelter, Walton noticed that when someone talked to him in a high voice, he would immediately flash his adorable little teeth. All of the puppies are friendly and love to play.

When the dogs were old enough to get adopted, the shelter shared a video of Joe’s natural talent for fetch. Many people were impressed and Joe got adopted really fast.

Then, Wingate and Walton started thinking about what special talent Burreaux could show off in an online video. However, he doesn’t have a natural talent for fetch like his brother Joe. So, the women decided to video-record Burreaux when he is showing off his teeth. Surprisingly, his video going viral. It received over 40,000 views.

However, his popularity doesn’t mean he was adopted. He and his sister O are still up for adoption. If you are interested in adopting one of the dogs or maybe both, you can apply on the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana’s website.
