The number of abandoned animals increases almost every day. Once pet owners don’t want оr can’t take care of their pets anymore, they usually bring them to animal shelters or abandon them on the streets.
We’ve previously reported about many animals abandoned on the streets, but luckily they were found. Who knows how many animals don’t share the same faith and end up dead?
The following story is really heartbreaking. It’s not about just one dog, but an entire family. Despite the fact that they were left to die, the mom was still trying her best to care for her kids when she was fighting for her own life.

Last November, a 2-year-old dog was found tied to a gate in Ireland. Her six newborn puppies were next to their mother. It appears that the owner abandoned the mom along with her newborn babies.
The person who found them called the police and the ISPCA, who immediately took put the poor animals in a vet hospital.
When the ISPCA posted the story and pictures on social media, people were angry.
The person who left the dogs without food and water put their lives in danger on purpose. Fortunately, the dogs were healthy. They were just hungry and cold. But, their condition will still be monitored.
The ISPCA named the mom Emmy Lou and her puppies were named Patsy, June, Dixie, Dotty, Dolly and Billy Ray. They also thanked the person who found the dogs and reported to the police.
The person who put the dogs’ lives at risk is still out there. Now, the ISPCA is looking for that person and even asked the public for help. If you have information about it, please contact the ISPCA. They also encouraged people to continue reporting animal cruelty, neglect or abuse.
