People can see a lot of unusual things at airports. For instance, while some people are waiting for their next flight, they usually do things such as workout or day drink for time to pass by.

But, when flyers were waiting at the Tampa International Airport last year, they saw something they will never see again. An official service dog decided that the airport is the best place to give birth to her litter!

This was an unexpected surprise but it was more than welcome. Everyone at the airport stopped everything that they were doing so they can watch the miracle happen. Or maybe miracles because the dog gave birth to 8 puppies.

Eleanor Rigby also is known as Ellie is the adorable Labrador retriever dog that surprised flyers when she gave a magical birth to the puppies at the airport.

Fortunately, Ellie wasn’t alone when she went into labor. She was accompanied by her human Diane Van Atter, and her partner, Golden Nugget, the father of her puppies. They were for their flight number to be called when the sweet dog went into labor right in front of the Gasparilla Bar at the airport.

The crowded airport stopped while Ellie was bringing her tiny pups into the world. Golden Nugget didn’t want to leave her, so he stayed by her said. He even welcomed all the puppies as they were pulled from their mom’s womb.

This unexpected event caught the attention of every traveler, even though it’s hard to distract a tired traveler. But, when it comes to puppies, everyone drops everything so they can be a part of the fun.

It took Ellie more than 3 hours to finish her birth. Onlookers were thrilled to watch how the unexpected scene was folding right in front of them. Many of them took pictures of the birth and shared them on social media.

However, the birth would have never gone so smoothly if Tampa Fire & Rescue paramedics didn’t arrive at the scene to help Ellie through her labor. Van Atter was so thankful to the paramedics, she decided to name the puppies after them.
