Veterinarians protect the well-being of both animals and people. They make sure that animals receive medical treatment and they advise pet owners how to properly take care of their furry companions. But, not every veterinarian is an animal lover.

Meet Dr. Stewart Kwane, the hero who wants to make a difference in the world. He is a true animal lover who spent most of his life to safe strays. Now, he’s also known as “the street vet” because he’s doing such an amazing work while saving homeless animals in California.

During the economic crisis in the U.S. in 2003, Dr. Kwane realized that in order to be truly helpful, he should start helping pet owners who are financially struggling to properly take care of their animals.

During poverty, people struggle to provide meet basic needs, such as food, medicine, shelter, etc. It’s even sadder for pet owners when they can’t afford healthcare for their pets. In reality, many people are poor.

Fortunately, there are people like Dr.Kwane who try to give people access to veterinary care for their pets.

Since 2011, he’s been offering free vet treatments on the streets of California. When he set up a soup kitchen to offer free check-ups, people immediately when there to visit him. Soon he realized that many people need his free service, so he decided to spent his weekends on the streets and offer his services free of charge.

Thanks to his medical background, he is able to treat minor injuries right on the spot. But, when a pet suffers from a serious injury, he’s more than happy to pay the medical bills.

Thanks to his trusty medical bag, Dr. Kwane is able to treat a number of minor ailments on the spot.

But if a pet has a more serious complaint, that doesn’t mean that they’re out of luck; Dr. Kwane is happy to pay for medical bills, vaccines and anything else they need to recover. He also has set up a GoFundMe page where people can donate and save the lives of countless pets.

Dr. Kwane is really dedicated to his mission and wants to help people and their pets to receive proper care. He is such an amazing vet and hopefully, other vets will follow his example.
