The pair tried to trick the dog with food, but they failed. However, they gave him a package of hot dogs and even stayed close to him during the night. They left at 3 a.m. but came back the following day with a new plan.
Amanda then decided to appeal to the dog’s compassion. She laid down on the ground, pretending to be hurt. Then, Baby Bear slowly started crawling backward towards her.
Amanda started yawning and whimpering, but continued to slowly get closer and closer to the sweet little Baby Bear! Her plan worked. Amanda managed to get closer to the pup and he even let her pick him up!
First, Amanda took Baby Bear to the vet to make sure he was healthy. Afterward, she took him to the Useless Bay Sanctuary and she also managed to find him a great foster family.
Later, Baby Bear even found his forever home with an amazing family.
Such a sad story, but thankfully has a happy ending. We are so thankful for Amanda and Dylan’s kindness for saving Baby Bear!
