They were sailing on the Labrador coast in Canada when they noticed something unusual. The crew something weird on an iceberg floating just a few miles away from their boat.

They thought it was a baby seal, but it turned out to be an unusual visitor. Out of curiosity, they decided to go a little bit closer. Then, the crew noticed that the animal was actually an arctic fox, which is unusual for that place. Instead of sailing away, the crew decided to help the helpless animal. Somehow they got the fox aboard even though he didn’t want to get on. Since the winds were driving icebergs even farther out to sea, the crew knew they were his only chance for survival.

Fortunately, they managed to save the poor animal. Before the crew returned back to the land, Harrigan gave food to the exhausted fox. Afterward, she built a bed for the fox, so he can get some sleep. Don’t worry, she didn’t want to keep the fox as a pet.

Harrigan said that together with the crew, the fox was released in the wild. She stated that they dropped him off in an old doghouse. But the fox didn’t stay in for long. He just shook himself and returned to his natural habitat.

Surprisingly, the crew can still see the fox from time to time. It seems that he returns to show his gratitude for saving his life.

May this story be a reminder to you that even small acts of kindness can mean everything for someone in need.
