You know the feeling when your mom buys you something, but it’s totally the wrong thing. However, instead of hurting her feelings, you pretend you actually love it. And this dog loves his small dog bed!
That is what happened recently when one mom bought a new dog bed. The mother of the Twitter user named @paetonmathes bought a new bed for the family dog, Kenny. However, it turned out that the bed is a little on the small side.
Kenny‘s mom wanted to buy her cute furry baby to a new dog bed but, sadly, she accidentally ordered the bed in the wrong size. When the bed arrived, Kenny’s mom was surprised when she saw that the bed looked more suited to be a pillow than a bed.
Kenny is so grateful for his new bed. The golden retriever was posing with his “awesome” new gift for numerous pictures, that were later shared on Twitter by Kenny’s human sister. Social media users loved the pictures and they’ve since been liked by over 135,000 people and shared over 60,000 times.

The grateful dog has since received another bed, but this one could actually fit him. Kenny is a reminder that no matter what kind of a crappy gift we receive, we should be grateful. Remember it’s actually the thought that counts! The least you can do for someone has thought about you and bought something for you, is to show your gratitude.
Sometimes we love a thing so deeply, not because of the thing itself, but because of the person who gave it to us.
The love behind the gift is always more important than the actual thing.
Although Kenny’s gift is flawed, he tried his hardest to show his mom that he still appreciates it.
