Thieves stole a puppy from a Flatlands Avenue dog store in Marine Park on Monday evening, according to the owner of the store.
The couple was caught on video while they were sitting and playing with a dog at Puppy Paradise located on Flatbush Avenue.
David Dietz, the store owner, is worried that the puppy’s life might be in danger because she can’t live without its regimen of life-saving medicine. If the dog doesn’t receive her treatment in 48 hours, she might die.
On Monday, a man and his girlfriend came into the pet store at 5 pm on Monday to take a look at the dogs. However, the woman was distracting the employee, while her boyfriend stole Covina. The puppy is 1-month-old and is a female Yorkie. After taking the dog, the couple ran away.

The police confirmed the incident and added that they’ve launched an investigation.
Dietz said that the puppy needs to receive her regular sugars, dietary supplements, and other vitamins on a daily basis. This medicine is supposed to help with her early development. She also needs a constant supply of water next to her. Dietz said that he and the pet shop staff are really worried and concerned about the pup’s life.
In the surveillance video, the woman is pressuring her boyfriend to steal the puppy. At least, that is what Dietz believes he saw. He is blaming the woman for coaxing her boyfriend, who actually didn’t want to steal the dog.
The store owner said that he is willing to drop the charges against the couple only if they return the puppy soon. He just wants his puppy back. If the couple doesn’t return the puppy soon, she might die without her medicine.
