Calvin Tucker has been saving animals since 2017. The first animal that he ever rescued was a little gray kitten that showed up outside his workplace. The poor animal was looking for help. Although Tucker didn’t like cats at the time, he changed his mind when the little kitten looked him in the eyes.

Instead of leaving it, he went back inside to get some crackers and fed the little kitten. The next day, the kitten was waiting for Tucker at 7 a.m. At that moment, he knew that he had to adopt the cat, whom he later named Henry.

Since then, he rescued around 123 cats and many other animals. The man who didn’t like cats started feeding feral cats every day.

Last September, Tucker got a feeling that an animal needed his help once again. It was Friday evening when he was heading home. Instead of going the usual way, he got off the freeway and turned on the main highway. Then, he saw a scared dog in the middle of the road.

Tucker immediately pulled his car over and lured the scared dog with a can of food. The hair of the dog was gone about 98 percent and he was in really bad condition. Since the only thing Tucker noticed was the dog’s wrinkles, he decided to name him Wrinkles.

The kindhearted man took the dog to a foster home where they immediately gave him a bath. The next day, Tucker took the dog and drove him to the vet who noticed that Wrinkles had severe mange, a fever, parasites, and worms.

The dog stayed at the veterinary hospital for the entire weekend in order to receive treatment. Then, he was taken to a foster home to start his long journey to recovery.

Within 6 months, Wrinkles grew his fur back. Now, all you could see on the dog was his glossy black coat.

After he fully recovered, he was ready to get adopted. Tucker contacted the Two By Two Animal Rescue in Helena, Alabama, and asked them to help Wrinkles find the home he deserved.
