Many governments put their countries in lockdown to prevent the coronavirus from spreading. Although it’s recommended to stay home, people can still go out to buy groceries or medicine.
However, it’s hard for pet owners to take a walk with their lovely pets during the coronavirus pandemic. A shocking video of an elderly woman walking her dog from her balcony appeared online. The bizarre moment of the woman lifting the poor dog by the leash was shared on social media.
The video was recorded in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, where people older than 65 are prohibited from leaving their homes because the risk of contracting the coronavirus is very high.

In the video, while an elderly woman is standing on her balcony on the first floor, she is holding a long leash with her small dog on the ground in front of the building.
Another video was shared online which shows another person is helping the elderly woman to lift the dog back into her apartment using its long leash.
The poor dog was hanging from its collar as she was lifting it up onto the balcony, while the people recording the video were laughing really hard.
Social media users are with divided opinions. While some of then are judging the elderly woman for her actions, others are praising the woman for taking out the dog for a walk.
The local media announced that the Serbian government restricted the elderly to go outside from 10 am until the end of the day.
Since the number of infected people with coronavirus is on the rise, the government is taking new measures day by day. For now, pet owners aren’t allowed to take a walk with their pets between 8 pm and 9 pm.
It’s been reported that there are 222 people infected from the coronavirus in Serbia, and just 2 deaths, as of 22 March.
