Although rules exist for good reasons, sometimes it’s best if you break them. Many dog lovers agree that rules should be broken if dogs are in danger and that is exactly how one bus driver felt while on duty.

A dangerous thunderstorm was going on while he drove his bus around Buenos Aires, Argentina. Although the bus company has a no-dogs policy, when the bus driver saw two stray dogs in need, he immediately wanted to help them.

When it’s raining, many people rush to find shelter. However, the same thing doesn’t apply for dogs, especially if they are strays. Unfortunately, two dogs were forced to stay outside while it was raining. When the bus driver spotted them soaking wet, he decided to pull over the vehicle just for them. Although he knows the strict rules, he decided to disobey them.

The two stray dogs were finally safe and dry, maybe for the first time. Stella Maris San Martin, one of the passengers, said that the bus driver spoke to the dogs as they were his own and he didn’t even try to put them off.

Although the man knew that this good deed may cost his job, he continued to drive the furry passenger. Other passengers on the bus praised him and even some of them took a few pictures and shared them on social media. Sadly, the employers found out that the bus driver violated the company’s rules.

However, the employers decided not to punish the driver. Even though animals aren’t allowed on the bus, the employers said that the bus driver did the right thing. They were very pleased that he helped the strays.

The identity of the bus driver will remain unknown. However, he still received so many nice comments on social media.

The stray dogs were adopted right after the photos of them were shared on social media.
