A mother cat stepped on a deadly place to save the kittens from a burning building. When firefighters were called to the Brooklyn garage fire, they spotted the heroic cat carrying its kittens one by one outside the burning building.

She returned five times to the burning building to save her babies, and after carrying them to a safe place, she touched each of their noses to make sure they were still alive.
A cat named Scarlett lost consciousness after her heroic rescue of her little ones.
Scarlett was completely burned in the rescue process, her eyes were completely closed and her ears and paws were burned. The poor mother, who was fighting heroically for her loved ones, collapsed.
Brooklyn firefighters who were able to put out the blaze also called for medical help for Scarlett and her babies. Unfortunately, one of her babies failed to survive, but the others were treated and found their forever homes.
Her bold and motherly story caught the attention of the media around the world, and she even became the subject of several books written about her, including “Scarlett Saves Her Family” and “The Courageous Cat.”
Scarlett was then adopted by a Brooklyn family and lived for 12 happy years with a lot of love until she died in 2008.
