The celebrity cook and author Rachael Ray has a new furry assistant in the kitchen!

Ray and her husband John Cusimano recently adopted a new puppy named Bella Boo Blue. On June 15, the 51-year-old chef shared the good news on her Instagram profile. She shared a picture of her new puppy who loves to play outside.

Since Ray adopted Bella Boo, the puppy made it to the chef’s Instagram account a few times. Ever since the puppy joined the family, Ray loves to update her fans and followers on how Bella Boo is adjusting to her new home. The puppy loves chasing ice cubs around the house and loves taking naps with her duck toy.

Ray pointed out that the puppy is so cute. Bella Boo is a nod to the celebrity cook’s pit bull Isaboo, who died last month.

The pit bull peacefully passed away in Ray’s backyard in the sun in the Adirondack Mountains in her arms, Ray wrote on Instagram.

She will always remember Isaboo as a dog who taught her and her husband about love, compassion, and empathy. The dog also taught the couple about understanding each other in the best way possible.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ray decided to work and help other families to take proper care of their pets.

The celebrity chef also owns a pet food company named Rachael Ray Nutrish. In April, she shared that her company will donate 4 million meals to pets to make sure they eat during the pandemic. This move can ensure pets have enough food and decrease the chance of a family to give up their pet to an animal shelter during this time of uncertainty.

In an interview with the View, Ray said that this donation may help many families to stay together with their furry leg members as well.
