Pets don’t deserve to ever feel neglected or be abandoned by their families. Unfortunately, not all pet owners understand that when they get a pet it should stay in their lives forever.

Many dogs and cats end up on the streets or in animal shelters because their owners don’t want them anymore. Some of the reasons why pets end up the streets are loss of interest, moving or lack of finance to take care of them.

A tiny Chihuahua dog didn’t have enough luck and ended up with a family who didn’t appreciate her. Her previous owners left her at the most horrible place in the country, the shelter Carson Animal Shelter which is located in Gardena, California. This facility is a high kill shelter. People usually leave their pets there because is free of charge.

The 1-year-old dog was really afraid. She didn’t know what was going on and why she wasn’t with the people she loved very much. The shelter employees realized that the poor dog was in distress.

So, the staff decided to find her a new loving home by sharing a picture of her with a pink sweater. In the caption, it was noted that the dog was a female, white Chihuahua and it’s about a year old. She has been in the shelter for 3 months and doesn’t have much time left because the shelter is overcrowded.

The dog couldn’t stop crying at the high-kill shelter. A person who works at the shelter said that the poor animal was sobbing quietly because she didn’t want to disturb other animals.

Fortunately, a kind person saw the Chihuahua’s post and decided to adopt her. Now, the sweet pup has a new owner that will never abandon her.
