Last week, a man from Malaysia left his wheelchair to save a small kitten stuck in a drain. The kitten couldn’t escape on its own.

Saturday morning, 30-year-old paralympic athlete Abu Fathiyyaturahma Menk Abdun Mujtahid and his disabled friend were walking near Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex when they noticed a kitten stuck in the drain. The poor creature was struggling to get out of there, but it was already soaking wet.

Although Abu can’t use his legs, he still managed to get out of the wheelchair in order to help the poor kitten. He reached down, somehow managed to pick up the poor kitty and moved it to a safer place. The kitten seemed to be fine, not injured at all.

In order to get back on the wheelchair, Abu had to leave the kitten on the grass. Then, she used the opportunity to run away and didn’t even showed her gratitude, which is typical cat behaviour.

Since Abu’s friend has a prosthetic leg, he couldn’t do anything to save the kitten. However, he recorded the moment when Abu rescued the kitten. Then, the paralympic athlete shared the heartwarming video on social media. Many people praised him for his kind and selfless act. He didn’t think about himself during the dangerous circumstances, he just wanted to save an animal’s life.

Usually, people think that those people who have disabilities can’t do many things. However, Abu proved them wrong. Despite the fact that he is in a wheelchair and isn’t able to move his legs, he still managed to save the kitten. We need more people like him in the world.

Everyone has limits in their lives, but sometimes the sky is the limit. People can do everything they set up their minds.
