It is often said that dogs are man’s best friends, and they often are. However, a dog named Ben has a completely different type of best friend. This friendship is so unusual and wonderful at the same time. It will melt your heart. This dog actually swims in the ocean every day just to meet with his best friend.
Ben is currently living in Tory Island. So, if you are ever around, you should visit the harbor. While you’re there, look out for the labrador Ben and see how he spends his days!

Ben became a local celebrity on the island. He is allowed to run free, so he’s always on an adventure. However, Ben started disappearing from the harbor on a daily basis, which made villagers and his owners worried.
This happened every morning, the dog would run to the harbor to jump into the water and swim into the ocean.
It turned out that Ben had a new friend waiting for him out in the water. But it was not an ordinary friend, it was a dolphin! His owners were relieved after they found out about Ben’s new buddy.
The dolphin is named Duggie and he swims around the fishing boats in the harbor, the place where Ben and Duggie met each other.
Ben swims almost every day just to meet Duggie! He is a true friend.
These friends do not care that one lives on land and the other lives in water. They meet each other almost every day and have a lot of fun together by swimming and playing.
