Most dogs live tough lives. While some of them end up on the streets, some of them are lucky enough to find forever homes, thanks to many animal lovers who know that dogs deserve better.
Fortunately, there are numerous rescue organizations and volunteers who are trying to do their best and help as many animals as possible.
These animal lovers are working without getting a salary. They are helping strays and neglected pets just because they love them and they wouldn’t want the animals to would end up wandering the streets or get euthanized.
Take Cesar for instance. He’s a tiny Yorkshire dog who used to live in a dark and dirty box at a puppy mill. He was allowed only to move for a few meters. He never got the opportunity to run around and wag his tail.

Although there isn’t enough information about Cesar’s life, it’s obvious that it wasn’t easy for him. His appearance was enough to prove that the poor dog was severely neglected.
After local authorities were notified about Cesar’s situation, they saved him. When the poor dog was finally in safe hands, they took him to the vet, who was shocked a dog can look that bad. Sadly, his fur was in a really desperate condition. The dog had to be treated with numerous medications because he was covered in dirty, matted hair for a long time, and his body was covered in infections.
Although Cesar has been through a lot, he is now a happy dog that found a forever and loving home. One couple decided to adopt him after hearing his sad story.
We are so grateful to the rescuers who saved him. Cesar’s life changed for good. From living in a filthy box, now he has a forever home!
